Charles Leclerc Japan - 2024 Helmet
Charles Leclerc is no stranger to tributes and this is no exception. In 2014, an accident during the Japanese GP took the life of Jules Bianchi, childhood friend of Charles Leclerc and one of the most promising up and coming drivers the world had ever seen. This accident sparked a lot of controversy about the safety precautions of Formula 1, eventually leading to the implementation of new safety measures.
Charles, in honor of his friend and fellow Ferrari Driver Academy pilot, entered the Japanese grand prix with a helmet heavily inspired by that of Jules Bianchi.
Jules Bianchi will be forever missed and live on in the hearts of fans and fellow drivers for eternity.
